Ancient Lens of the Name in the Bible

Research at the International Institute of Pneumatology that studies the Ancient Hebrew Principle of the Scriptures, as well as how Spirit works, reveals that the Scriptures are an expression of the Nature of God. The Nature of God is defined by the Name of God. This Name, is the Name of Christ Jesus, which is Yahweh Elohim. In the mindset of the Ancient Hebrews, the Name of God was a Principle of Functionality, and not just a label to identify Him as a Person.

In our westernized culture, the words “God” and “LORD” that we read in the Scriptures literally do not translate contextually what our Greco-Roman thought culture interprets it as. In our culture, when we hear these words we think of someone who is independent of us that is all powerful and supreme. This is merely a fraction of what the authors of the Hebrew Scriptures understood and communicated.

The word GOD in the Scriptures is the translation of the Hebrew word “Elohim”, which generally means ‘the One of Authority and Power’. The capitalized word LORD in the Scriptures is the translation of the Hebrew Name YHVH (Yahweh) which generally means ‘the Self-Existent and Eternal One’. These definitions give insight into the Nature of the one carrying the titles, as well as the Mindset from which the carrier of the title communicates. One would get a better understanding of what is really being communicated through the lens of the Authors if we interchange the definitions of the Names, with the Names themselves.

For example:

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

If we interchange the definitions of the Name with the Name itself, it would read:

The Self-Existent and Eternal One is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Self-Existent and Eternal One is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

All Scriptures have been spoken through the Name of God and therefore has been spoken through the Mindset or Logic of the Name of God. Therefore, the definitions of the Name of God give context to the nature of what has been spoken. That means, that whatever has been spoken by The Self-Existent and Eternal One is by nature Self-Existent and Eternal in regards to the example above. This also sets as a Spiritual law the mental criteria or attitude that must be adopted by the reader to be able to access the Spiritual realities of that which has been spoken.

It sets the criteria regarding the Mindset, the Attitude or the Logic through which the Power of the Self-Existent and Eternal One would come into manifestation.

Here is another example, if through the Name “the LORD” (Yahweh) the verse, “with His stripes, you are healed” was spoken, then the only way to be able to access the healing communicated by the Prophet speaking in this Name, is through a ‘Self-Existent’ Mindset or Self-Existent way of thinking.

The same goes for the phrase the Word of God. The Word of God is translated the Word of Elohim, and Elohim is ‘the One of Authority and Power’. This would mean that the only way for the reader to access the Spiritual realities of the Scriptures in general, would be to approach it as ‘One of Authority and Power’, or through an attitude of Authority and Power, and in no way through the mindset of a victim.

At the Institute, this discovery was put through various experimental tests and the results were phenomenal. Through thousands of hours of research and practical experiments, the Institute has successfully translated what the Ancient Hebrews understood as the Principle of the Self-Existent into methodical mental frameworks that can be adopted and executed. This has led to a redefinition of how the Bible was meant to be read and interpreted, and a reorientation of at least 12 areas of life, from identity, spirituality relationships and marriages, and more, with unprecedented results.

Due to the fact that our westernized culture do not use names in the way that the Ancient Hebrews understood them, we have surmised the meaning of the Scriptures using various reference points to interpret it. As a result, many of the interpretations that we have been familiarized with has led to a Principle of thinking that has been the polar opposite of the Mindset and Logic of the Name in the Scriptures. Westernized Christianity has been founded instead upon being Codependent on rule-keeping systems, resulting in temporal life, and victimlike perspectives, which is a life of powerlessness.
