Mental Codependency: Unraveling the Conundrum of Adam’s Fall
The story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden has intrigued and puzzled many throughout history. While interpretations may vary, research at the International Institute of Pneumatology has proven with experimental verification that the conundrum that led to Adam’s fall from grace was what we now understand in today’s world as mental codependency. This article aims to shed light on this concept by relating it to the notion of the “Sinner” as described by Moses and the idea of “Walking in the Flesh” presented by the Apostle Paul. By using simple analogies, we can gain clarity on the role mental codependency played in Adam’s departure from the Garden.
The Garden of Eden: A State of Harmony and Wholeness
Imagine a beautiful, lush garden — a paradise where male and female Adam resided. In this Garden of Eden, the Adam enjoyed a direct and harmonious connection with the Divine from His own Spirit. He experienced a profound sense of wholeness, peace, and contentment. Hence the Garden of Eden, i.e the Garden of Delight. Adam’s true essence, his spirit, was aligned with the Divine will, and he lived in perfect harmony with his own authentic nature.
The Conundrum: Mental Codependency Unveiled
Now, let’s introduce the conundrum — a dilemma that set in motion the Adam’s departure from the Garden. This conundrum was mental codependency — an excessive reliance on external factors or opinions for validation as a source of wisdom and self-worth. It is akin to adopting a false identity, which Moses referred to as the “Sinner,” and the Apostle Paul termed as “Walking in the Flesh.”
To illustrate this, consider a young child who naturally expresses their creativity through art. They paint, draw, and sculpt with uninhibited joy, free from the constraints of judgment or comparison. Their art is an authentic reflection of their spirit, the realm of their imagination untainted by external influences.
The Arrival of Mental Codependency: The Seducing Voice
Now imagine a voice — a seductive whisper that enters the child’s world. This voice represents mental codependency. It tells the child that their art is not good enough, not worthy of praise or recognition. This usually comes from comparison in one way or another with another person, thing or concept, external of oneself. The child, eager to please and seeking validation, begins to doubt their own artistic abilities. They start conforming to external standards, desperately trying to meet the expectations and gain approval from others.
Adam’s Fall: Straying from the Authenticity of His own Divine Spirit
In a similar way, mental codependency lured the Adam away from his true Divine essence. Just as the child’s artistic expression became stifled by seeking external validation, Adam’s connection with the Divine suffered when he succumbed to the seducing voice of mental codependency to compare himself to a Tree, even dressing himself to match his new point of comparison.
The Adam, driven by the fear of disapproval and seeking validation from external sources, began to prioritize external opinions and expectations over his own inner knowing. Hence, God’s question, “who told you that?” He turned away from his inherent wisdom, his spirit, and instead embraced external wisdom of a false identity — the “Sinner” or “Walking in the Flesh.”
The Impact: Loss of Divine Connection and Inherent Authority
Adam’s shift towards mental codependency severed his direct communion with the Divine (His own Spirit). The Garden of Eden symbolized the state of alignment with one’s spirit, whereas mental codependency represented a disconnection from that spiritual essence, finding themselves in the realm of the arid desert.
In embracing the false identity, the Adam lost touch with his Divine Spirit and Intelligence. He became entangled in self-doubt, fear, and a constant need for external validation. The purity and wholeness he once experienced were overshadowed by the burdens of seeking approval, conforming to societal norms, and straying from his true nature.
Rediscovering the Garden: Breaking Free from Mental Codependency — THE MEANING OF THE CROSS OF CHRIST & THE RESURRECTION
Adam’s journey reflects our own struggles with mental codependency today. Just as Adam’s fall led to his expulsion from the Garden, mental codependency today exiles us from living in alignment with the Kingdom of God in the here and now, from the Holy Spirit of Christ within us. The New Jerusalem.
To live from the Garden or the Kingdom of God within, we must embark on a path of the Resurrected Christ in us, which is living from the Mindset and Intelligence of God in us (defined by the Promises of God in the Scriptures) abandoning all forms of mental codependency. By recognizing the seductive voice of the Serpent today that undermines the Voice of God in us, we embrace our true identity as Self-Existent Sons and Governors seated in Heavenly Places. This involves challenging societal norms, cultivating integrity to the Holy Spirit and equity for all (God is all, and in all), setting healthy boundaries, and nurturing our application of the Name of God as the Divine Law of Intelligence, just as Jesus Christ the Apostle and High Priest according to the Order of Melchizedek.
The conundrum that caused Adam’s fall from the Garden of Eden can be understood as mental codependency — a state of reliance on external validation and opinions. Just as the child’s artistic expression was stifled by seeking approval, the Adam’s departure from the Wisdom or Intelligence of His own Spirit stemmed from prioritizing external opinions over his own spiritual knowing (the Garden of Eden in Him).
Understanding this concept of mental codependency helps us recognize its presence in our lives today and the necessity to abandon it for the faithfulness of the Thoughts and Intelligence of our own (Holy) Spirit. By breaking free from the seductive voice, live from the Garden or the Kingdom within ourselves — a place of Eternal Life, Supernatural Power, and spiritual synchronicity.
This is living the life of the Resurrection in Christ. His Death to the Ancients represented the death of Mental Codependency by a decided conviction. His Resurrection, living exclusively from the Holy Spirit and the Thoughts of the Holy Spirit (the Promises of God in Biblical Literature) IN YOU!!! This is called living in His Name!
